It is official. As of MGM closing time on the 27th of September the Studio Backlot Tour in Walt Disney World has been closed.
The ride has had its fair share of closures. Slowly dwindling to a much less exciting attraction than what it began as but it was still rather enjoyable. The ride was still a favorite in my family, especially with so little to do in MGM. That being said it is unknown what the Disney Company is planning to do with the large plot of land MGM sits on but one thing is for sure: Something has to be going on behind the scenes that caused the ride to shut down.
If you still want to enjoy the ride just remember it is still at Disneyland Paris Other than that all that is left to say is: What do you want put in place of Studio Backlot Tour?
